NLC Productions is the creative production home of Southern California-based filmmaker and cinematographer Nico Campagna.

With over ten years of experience across commercial film and photography, Nico’s background spans cinematography, camera operation, lighting, grip and electric, and production in both studio and on-location environments. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Television, Film, and New Media from San Diego State University.

Throughout his career, Nico has worked alongside established filmmakers, production teams, brands, and agencies, including Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and longtime mentor Chris Park along side Zach Barron. These experiences helped shape a hands-on approach to production built around strong imagery, collaboration, and finding practical ways to bring creative ideas to life.

Today, Nico works across directing, cinematography, photography, and production — partnering with brands, agencies, athletes, and other production companies. Through NLC Productions, he has the flexibility to work independently or scale projects from lean, fast-moving shoots, to full commercial productions with a trusted network of crew and collaborators.

Whether behind the camera or overseeing a larger production, the goal remains the same: create great work with great people.

When he’s not behind the lens, Nico can usually be found surfing, mountain biking, or searching for the next best taco.
